New Start

Im not sure if anyone is still on xanga, but i decided to start writing again. It's been a while since my last post. I guess everyone migrated over to Facebook, but I feel xanga/blogging is different. Facebook is more of a show-off type of deal, it's about how much friends you know, how many places you been too, how many photos of your self you have, how many likes/comments you have per post ... etc.  The new era of social media is pushing toward small comments/status/tweeets typically less than two sentense, but how can you expess a thought/ a feeling in just two sentenses. People are getting Lazy cause of this! Coming back to Xanga, I realized how i missed the good old times, where you sit down for hours thinking about whats important to you, not whats important to others; what you want to write, not what others want to read. Blogging for me is a bridge between my conscious mind and the bottom half of the iceberg and then presenting it in words that make sense. It is also a form of cognitive mediation. Believe or not, we act and make decisions thru our unconscious mind most of the time. The faces you make when you are disguised/happy/disatisfied/pissed/angry, you make not even realize it especially the microexpressions. Even the choice of tone or words we use to people we like and dislike differs greatly. A good example of this is how i communication to my manager (CIO)  and the other grays (CEO and CFO). With my manager i can let loose and say whatever is in my mind, except cruel comments about him, but other than that, it's pretty much open. Maybe because we became more than just co-workers, but a friend. For some reason, i get very anxious when i talk to the CEO. Maybe i dont know what you wants me to do. Or i know we dont have any topic to discuss besides work. Or maybe i've seen his nasty side, Kicking and swearing when his printer did not work. When im around him, i shut off my humor side and everything that comes out of my mouth are short answers. And what is going thru my mind is to end the conversation as soon as possible. You might think it might be his authority like a sergeant in the military and is disliked by everyone. Wells in that case, i would have the same tension with the CFO. But i dont. The more i think about it, the clearer i gets. It all leads to Respect.

It's getting late, so i'll end this post with the importants of Respect and will also start my next thread with Respect.

Good night all... if anyone is still in the xanga universe.
